My love for yoga began 11 years ago. I was a true beginner in every sense of the word- mentally, spiritually, and physically. After practicing for a year, I completed my 200 hour certification at Yoga Den. I began teaching at Bliss Yoga Shala after graduation and taught there for 4+ years. During that time, I completed multiple Teacher Training certifications and continued to grow as a student and teacher. A yogi friend and I also started a business, Traveling Yoginis, which offered yoga classes to corporations of Jacksonville for a couple of years. That was a blast. A dream came true in 2010- Red Root Yoga opened its doors to the community of Lakewood/San Marco. I've since then completed my 500 Hour Teacher Training certification in 2013.
Through my yoga practice and teachings, I continue to learn compassion, joy, perseverance, vulnerability, grace, and pure love-as I am still a student. om shanti
